West Los Angeles Farmers' Market
Located in an interior courtyard bordered by civic and municipal buildings, this small but evolving farmers' market lacked a consistent branding, wayfinding, and signage system. Using my flyer design
as a template, I then developed original illustrations, graphics, branding, and signage to bring awareness and attention to this thriving weekly market which is hidden from view from passing traffic.
As with most of my client work, as the designer and project manager, I outlined the scope of work, specs for each sign, sourced vendors, obtained competitive bids, preflighted the proofs, and approved all final files before the signage was output and installed. Working with the market manager, we developed a variety of signs in order to draw in both pedestrian and street traffic to the market tucked away in this busy, multi-cultural, and ethnically diverse neighborhood.
